Challenge One - Week Two

Week 2 for me is going smoothly in regards to the 15,000 steps, but when it comes to getting rid of the stuff I'm being strangely sentimental about some things. And that includes stuff I haven't even touched, worn, or had use for, for ages. I think I need to be a bit more like a certain Disney character and "let it go!".
This week it has mainly been about old jeans with big holes, tracksuit bottoms that have died the death, and trainers which need to shuffle off this mortal coil. With regards to minimising my stuff I think it would have been easier to just do it all on one day, ripping off the band-aid rather than pulling it off slowly, which is something to consider for the next 30 day challenge.
My lady has had the opposite problem; she ruthless culled 7 more out-of-date makeup items on Sunday without a second thought. But the 15,000 steps are proving to be much more difficult. There have been a couple of late night flat walks to tip over the the mark, and a couple of days where she only got about 25 steps over.
Next week will be slightly tougher as the easy items are gone now, and I will start to have to deal with items that have more importance to me. For my lady, her knee is starting to hurt, and she doesn't like the time taken to complete the amount of steps, so her motivation is starting to go down. But I can see the results are paying off; less clutter, resting heart rate falling, and getting to know our neighbourhood a bit better.
